Our volunteering programme for London International Horse Show 2026 is now open!

We work with more than 400 volunteers every year who help us to make our Shows special. Our volunteers are the first people that our audiences meet, and we know how important that first contact is; because of this we aim to look after our volunteers well, give them a great experience and help them develop new skills. Many of our volunteers come back every year and have made great friends amongst our volunteer team.

The LIHS volunteer programme is looking for more than 200 volunteers this year. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. We ask our volunteers to help at a number of positions across the Show; these might be at horse-crossing points, greeting the public, helping in the Shopping Village, supporting the Live Zone, or on the Grandstands, for example.

To apply to be a London International Horse Show volunteer for 2026, please fill out the application form below and we will be in contact.

There is parking at Excel London but we do not offer travel expenses. Every volunteer will receive branded clothing and meal vouchers to be used during their shifts.

Please note that we have implemented an updated volunteering application process this year and your information will be retained in accordance with the HPower Privacy Policy in order for you to make it easier to volunteer for future Shows. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive confirmation of your submitted entry. If you are accepted, you will then receive an email with a login link so that you can easily update your information going forward. Please note that the acceptance/approval process is not immediate and may take several weeks before you hear from us.
